Vulnerability Management

CONTINUOUS VULNERABILITY MONITORING

Detect, track, and remediate vulnerabilities across your entire software supply chain with real-time CVE monitoring and intelligent prioritization.

The Problem

VULNERABILITIES ARE DROWNING YOUR SECURITY TEAM

The average enterprise application has 500+ known vulnerabilities. Without intelligent prioritization, your team wastes 80% of their time on noise that will never be exploited.

26,000+

New CVEs published in 2023

The NVD published over 26,000 new CVEs in 2023 alone. Your team can't manually triage this volume. You need intelligent filtering.

70%

Vulnerabilities are false positives

Research shows 70%+ of flagged vulnerabilities are in code paths that are never executed. Without reachability context, you're patching code that doesn't matter.

60 Days

Average time to remediate critical vulns

The average MTTR for critical vulnerabilities is 60 days. Attackers exploit within hours. Prioritization isn't optional — it's survival.

6# and injects it into the liblzma build process
7eval $gl_am_configmake | LC_ALL=C tr "\t \-_" " \t_\-" | xz -d

What Happened

The backdoor was hidden in test fixture files (.xz compressed) and extracted during the build process via obfuscated m4 macros. It hooked into sshd via liblzma, allowing unauthorized SSH access to any system running the compromised version.

How SOVA Prevents This

Multi-Source Detection & Blast Radius

SOVA detects from 4 vulnerability sources and instantly maps the blast radius.

Multi-Source Detection

VulnerabilityManagementEngine detects CVE-2024-3094 from NVD + GHSA + OSV + Scout DB simultaneously

Blast Radius Scan

Instant cross-project scan reveals every system using xz-utils 5.6.0/5.6.1

P0 Prioritization

CVSS 10.0 + exploited in wild + patch available = P0 Critical

Real-Time Alert

Alert fires within minutes of CVE publication to all affected teams

Patch Enrichment

Remediation: Downgrade to xz-utils <= 5.4.6
